Dr. Kenneth Nash founded Nash Family Dentistry in 1998 with a vision to provide exceptional cosmetic and restorative dental care to the Vicksburg community and beyond. With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Nash has dedicated himself to providing the highest quality of dental care for his patients.

After graduating from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1976, Dr. Nash earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville in 1980. His commitment to staying at the forefront of dental innovation is evident through his numerous certifications and continued education.

Dr. Nash is a Certified Lumineers Dentist, allowing him to offer these popular, minimally-invasive veneers that transform smiles with stunning results. His advanced training in laser periodontics ensures that cosmetic procedures not only enhance appearance but also promote optimal gum health—a crucial foundation for beautiful smiles.

For patients who experience dental anxiety, Dr. Nash holds an Enteral Conscious Sedation Permit from the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners, making cosmetic dental procedures comfortable and stress-free for even the most anxious patients.

In 2016, Nash Family Dentistry welcomed Dr. Jonathan Nash, who joined his father in providing state-of-the-art cosmetic dentistry to Vicksburg and Pearl. Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Jonathan Nash graduated from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in 2016 after completing his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Jonathan brings fresh perspectives and cutting-edge techniques to the practice. His specialized training in CEREC same-day crown technology means patients can receive beautiful, custom-crafted porcelain restorations in just one visit—transforming smiles with unprecedented convenience.

His advanced education includes an AEGD residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he honed his skills in complex cosmetic procedures. Dr. Jonathan’s approach to dentistry focuses on minimally-invasive techniques that preserve natural tooth structure while achieving outstanding aesthetic results.

Dr. Alexa Lampkin joined our team in 2024, bringing exceptional expertise in aesthetic dentistry to our Pearl location. A Ridgeland native and distinguished graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) School of Dentistry, Dr. Lampkin combines clinical excellence with a passion for transformative smile design.

Her comprehensive background includes completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and serving as an assistant professor at UMMC School of Dentistry. This academic experience informs her methodical, evidence-based approach to cosmetic procedures, ensuring predictable, beautiful outcomes for her patients.

As the first African American female to serve as President of the UMMC Dental Alumni Board and the first female dentist appointed to the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners, Dr. Lampkin brings a pioneering spirit and commitment to excellence that elevates our cosmetic dental services. Her advanced training and dedication to patient education make her particularly skilled at helping patients understand how aesthetic improvements can enhance both their smile and overall well-being.
